Bob Brudno is Founder and Managing Director
of Savoy Partners, Ltd., a retained, senior
level executive search firm established in Washington,
D.C. in 1990. He previously opened in 1980 and
ran the Washington office of Leon A. Farley
Associates, one of the "Fifty Leading"
executive search firms in the U.S at the time.
Bob's clients for presidential and other senior
executive searches include Fortune 500 companies,
multinationals, new ventures, and some of the
most highly regarded professional services firms
in the country. Bob was named by Bloomberg
Business Week as one of the "100
Most Influential Executive Recruiters in the
World."
Bob's
specialty is helping clients recruit Chairman,
CEO, COO, and EVP successors and execute strategies
for growth, acquisition, diversification or
reorganization. Having more than 29 years of
in-depth experience in a wide range of vertical
markets, including information technology, telecommunications,
aerospace/defense, financial services, health
care, aerospace and professional services, he
is able to draw upon the lessons learned from
hundreds of successes and failures experienced
by his clients and candidates..
Before
joining Leon A. Farley Associates in 1980, Bob
was the Executive Vice President of a consumer
products company. Joining the company in 1973
as Director of Marketing, Bob developed and
managed the implementation of a highly successful
strategy to transform this privately held, local
firm into a national player.
Previously,
Bob was a Management Consultant in Booz, Allen
and Hamilton's commercial sector consulting
practice. His assignments included organizational
studies, management audits, and the full range
of traditional strategy consulting engagements.
Bob
received his MBA from the Wharton School in
1972 where he graduated with distinction. After
his graduation in 1966 with a B.S. in Mathematics
from Tufts University, he became a Naval Officer.
His naval service from 1966 to 1970 included
two tours of duty aboard destroyers.
